Live CRM sync
Set up live sync with Copper
Copper live sync via OAuth — available on request. Manual CSV migration works today.
Set up live sync with Copper
Copper (formerly ProsperWorks) live sync replaces the manual lost-opportunity export step with a continuous background pull from your Copper account, so lost opportunities show up in Thawly automatically.
What live sync does
- Thawly watches your Copper account for new and updated Lost and Abandoned opportunities across every pipeline you give it access to.
- Lost opportunities you mark in Copper appear in Thawly automatically — no re-export, no filter-and-CSV round trip.
- Re-engagement signals fire when one of your monitored companies' UK public-data triggers lines up with a lost opportunity in your Copper account.
What data Thawly reads
Copper's OAuth surface uses a single coarse scope. The Copper consent screen will show:
developer/v1/all— Copper's only OAuth scope. It grants access to the full developer API. Thawly uses it to query exclusively/opportunities,/companies,/customer_sources,/loss_reasons, and (only if you opt in to write-back)/activities. Copper's API doesn't expose narrower scopes, so we list the coarse grant honestly here.
Through that scope Thawly only reads:
Opportunity— name, monetary value, expected/actual close date, status, loss reason id (resolved to label via/loss_reasons), and primary company id.Company— name + website only.customer_sources/loss_reasons— workspace-level metadata for resolving status + loss-reason labels.
Thawly never sees contact-level personal data — no email addresses, no phone numbers, no contact names. Only company-level opportunity context.
What Thawly never does
- Never writes back to your Copper account unless you explicitly opt in to the optional activity write-back feature (default off).
- Never deletes records.
- Never reads people, tasks, projects, files, or emails — only opportunities + companies + the metadata endpoints listed above.
- Never modifies statuses, owners, values, or close dates.
Set up
Copper live sync requires an active Copper subscription on Thawly's side — get in touch and we'll quote setup.
In the meantime, the manual import path works today —
The manual route uses your team's Copper seat to filter to lost opportunities, export the CSV, and drop it into Thawly. It takes about 10 minutes and gives you the same signal coverage as the live OAuth sync.
After setup
Once live sync is enabled for your account:
- Sync runs every 15 minutes in the background.
- See sync status, last-sync time, and total opportunities imported on the integrations page.
- Disconnect any time from Settings → Integrations — revokes the OAuth token and stops all future syncs. Already-imported opportunities stay in Thawly.
- If the token is revoked from Copper's side, the card flips to a red "Reconnect" state. Sync resumes the moment you reconnect.
